Flightcare Global is delighted to announce the appointment of Dr Jemma Austin, who recently joined our team as Medical Director.

Jemma joins us following a 22-year career in the Royal Air Force where she served as a GP and a Flight Medical Officer in a variety of clinical, operational, leadership and educational roles. She has an international outlook having served all over the world in everything from disaster relief operations to war zones; experiences that have given her a breadth of practical aeromedical experience providing support to a variety of aviation missions and aircrew personnel. She formalised this academically with an MSc in Aerospace Medicine undertaken at King’s College, the award of the DAvMed in March 2020 and a Research Fellowship for the head of the Royal Air Force.

Jemma brings these experiences and her significant background in quality assurance, protocol & policy development, and medical education to the medical team at FCG. We are excited to have her join our team – Welcome Jemma!
